Lack of horsepower solution

/ Lack of horsepower solution #2
I've plowed many acres with a Ferguson TO20 and a Dearborn 2-bottom plow. Many of those were 1st time or many years since plowed. It seems the small tire size and weight of the Kubotas is the main problem here. It has to be a problem of traction instead of power.

You have to give these guys the ingenuity award though. They found a solution and the plowing looks good.:)

I'll be hitting some untouched soil, hopefully pretty soon. Hope mine goes as well!

As for the 2 tractors, I wish I'd thought of that!

The two tractor concept is not new I guess.

I'm kinda bored today.
No dirt to plow, sitting at work with not much to do...

Watching plowing on youtube is the best I've got.

I'll tell you the sad part of that is my Allis CA will pull just as good all by itself pulling 2 bottoms.

Years ago, in the San Joaquin valley delta area in California, they used a five foot plow to turn over the silt in the flood plain. IIRC, they hooked together 3 or 4 Cat D8s to pull it, 130 drawbar HP each, tens of thousands punds of drawbar pull.
