Large Bucket Container.

I built one out of 1/2" plywood (box with open top and front) that I use to carry bales of hay with the forks. It is 4' x4' x 5'6"high . Holds 8 bales (400#) no PT pucker.

Here's what I want to know...

If the PT will lift 800 pounds at the quick attach plate
and
the front tires are the pivot point
and
we assume that the quick attach plate is 2 feet from the center line of the front tire...

How much weight will it lift 2 feet from the quick attach plate?

How much weight will it lift 4 feet from the quick attach plate?

How much weight will it lift 6 feet from the quick attach plate? )</font>

Simple lever physics. If at 2' from the wheels you lift 800# then if you move outward another 2' (twice as far) you can only lift 400#. At 6' out it would be 300#, and at 8' you would be down to 200#.

Sorry forgot to mention those would be the weights based on the arm length from the front wheel pivot, the 48" would then be 24" ahead of the attachment plate etc.

When I lived in Houghton & Hancock (upper MI) we would get over 200" of snow a year and all the FEL's there had these huge snow buckets on them, then they would change back to something smaller for dirt in the summer. Maybe someone makes a snow bucket that you could make fit?

Thanks Tim. Those may be a little large or expensive but that is what I have in mind. I'll let you all know what I finely come up with.
