i.e. HOSED AGAIN.

I'm so mad I could spit.
I took the TC45 back in to have it's radio and rear remote put on. They were part of the original deal although with the switching of lemon tractor for this one, they ran otu of time, and it wasn't a big deal I didn't need them anyway. Figured I had some time and I really don't want them doing any service on it. (since they hosed me on charging me twice to fix the same problem on a different tractor).
So, take it in, it's still got the 6' crappy Rhino shredder on it which has it's skid shoes breaking off at the front. (after a whole 4 months.). Now before you get all bent. A. I know how to setup a shredder. My 4 year old Bushhog is still virgin, and so is the 8' rhino). B. The service manager says "oh, they all do that, we do a lot of these"

Ok, i figure let them make a little money while doing this "free" work. yeah, go ahead, weld some new plates on there. (although it shoudl be warrantied from Rhino, but that's a different conversation). How much could it cost? $100 at most????

I go pick it up today.
The only item on there is the welding of the plates (as it should be)

Three hundred and thirty nine dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so mad I can barely see straight.

You have got to post some pictures of those welds, they must be flat out beautimous. How close is the next nearest dealer?

Thsi one is about 20 minutes away, the next closest one (who's got an EXCELLENT service dept, i've used them before for the MF) is about an hour away
doesn't really matter does it?

I would persue the warranty angle from Rhino to help with the cost. Did they have hours listed for the job? Let them know YOU know that you are being ripped off bad.
Good luck,
John

Yeah, they claim 4 hours

apparantly 3 to eat lunch, one to do the work

If you have read all my other travails, etc, I'm sick of it
I'm walking away
if you want the name of this "fine" dealer, PM me

But I'm done

Beyond, unhappy.

It sounds like they got you again. I can't blame you for not going back to them.

Brian,

Check the lugnuts on the wheels, the bolts on the hydraulic remote tie in, that they have not hooked up the radio nob to a high voltage transformer, and that they haven't filled the engine oil reservoir with antifreeze.

I am not joking. They have it in for you.
