Not been around TBN much lately.

Sorry you had issues. Mine has been flawless. But agree that when it was hooked up wrong something probably went wrong.

So....its been almost a month now.....any update on new valve? And did you just re-order the same thing or go with something different?

LD, I ordered the same thing. I saw no reason that would indicate that the valve was defective in some way. It's possible I got a lemon; but as you et al said: It was a crap shoot after the way it was originally hooked up. You may recall that some people predicted this in my original thread years ago. :(

Going with the same valve meant that I didn't have to make any changes to the plumbing hence made changing it out less complicated.

Unfortunately, I've been busy with other projects, so haven't had time to really wiring it out yet. But that day is coming: It's time to bushhog around here!

Thanks!

Got to work the tractor yesterday picking up trees that I had a tree service remove around my house. We had a large Shagbark Hickory drop and come within 4" of hitting our house (and did $400 damage to our Pathfinder). So some preventative selected tree trimming was called for.

I probably spent about 3 hours is pretty hot temps picking up and moving some pretty large tree sections. The biggest was a Black Walnut trunk about 20' long. My tractor was barely able to lift it.

No major leaks coming from the new valve that I could see. I'll look closer tomorrow and see if there is any major residue. But for now, I'm calling this problem solved.

Thanks again to all those that helped. I appreciate it.

Spent about 3-4 hours bushhogging today in +3,457 degree heat. Not a drop of hydraulic fluid on the fender under the valve. Usually it's covered.

Yea!
