My equipment is stored in my dads garage and I am trying to get a workshop built at our new house. But every time I get close to building something happens that takes the money I set aside.
Isn't that the truth... my planned shop has been slipping on the priority list for years. How I yearn for a space where I don't have to keep moving/wheeling around shop tools, extension cords, and the rest who are in a constant battle with my wife's car for safe, covered and heated space!

Is there a story behind the 59 chev?:)

Haaaah! Is there ever. The '59 was bought new by my Aunt and Uncle. They lived in a small town, Binger Ok. He ran a wrecker service and a parts store there, she worked at the post office. Everything within walking distance. They bought a new '75 Olds with all the power equipment, and the '59 sat in their garage until he died in 1998, when I bought it from my Aunt. It had 47,000 actual miles. I went through the engine, front end and rear end; new brakes, etc., new tires but otherwise it is an all original. Factory paint and interior, and it now has 57,000 miles. We take to shows and cruises close to home; it gets lots of looks and comments. It has a 283, 2bbl with a Powerglide. Runs like a new sewing machine! Oh, I admit, I did put on a set of dual glass-packs.

Thanks for asking!!!!

Dennis
