I think a caroni us the way I'm leaning unless something shows up used. According to the caroni website the B rotor isn't available on the 48" model but an A rotor is. Even then at 4ft the F would probably work fine

Wish I could find a deal like that here. They'd be looking for $3500-4000 or more for that here.

The F rotor would work fine as long as you're not cutting 4 foot tall grass. If you're maintaining it every few weeks and keeping it under 2 foot tall you'll be fine with the F rotor. It looks like a 52" and a 63" is available in the B rotor if you'd rather get a B rotor.

Another option is Woodmaxx. They offer a 50" mower with the course cut Y blades (Similar to the Caroni A rotor). Take a look:

So, I know someone who does "hotshot work" and he's offered to share a real world shipping cost from OKC to Huntsville area. That way you could have a real world idea of what it could cost in total. He even figures he could haul it in the bed of his truck and save on fuel too.... (Giggles) I've got your update now..... It's a good 720+ mile run (I ignorantly thought it was closer to 500-ish) so even with the best offer your looking at $1300+/- for transport.

So that caroni looking alot better eh?

I'm not sure I"m ready to buy right this minute but I'll sure listen. Appreciate it.

BAM!

Just like that. I missed out on the Mott! He sold it this morning. Appearantly someone else a day or so ago reached out to him and asked if they could come Saturday..... Well. I have an amazingly high loss ratio when it comes to Craigslist Ad's that I ask for help with in forums.

He hadn't had any emails or bites for a long while. It was 700 for several weeks while I had tried in vane to solve it before posting those pic's here.

Well. Guess I get to see about that 917 north of me now...... (Sigh)

Good luck with the next one. I always feel when I miss out on something, it was probably for the best. You will find one, and it will be a better fit and deal. Are you using a Craigslist app? I use craigslist checker app on my tablet when I am looking for something. Also letgo seems pretty good too. Hang in there
