Even sadder to see them long-neglected and falling down. I can understand somewhat though...farming has been on the decline here for decades, and maintaining those old barns is probably a low priority. I'd imagine just re-roofing one would cost a fortune!
It shouldn’t be! Cheap shelter is at a ridiculous premium in my area. A barn is looked at as valuable storage, so most get attention they need.
I have every leak-proof indoor storage space packed with feed hay.
It’s a lot cheaper to repair barns than rebuild them!
