That works, looks good!

Did u remember to loosen the bolts that allow the chute to pivot?

Yes I did loosen them. Will try to get a video of it moving so you guys can see the speed.

I've used Linear Actuators on three blower chute deflectors and they work great. I always got one hand in the shop. For the chute rotator you can use a power window motor. Lots of power in those as well.

 I forgot about them. I made the same brackets for my buddy's chutes and mounted the linier actuators between them.

When I bought the blower I also got the optional hydraulic chute rotation.
I can move the control box if I need to, just loosen the set screw. It felt good where I have it but that was when I was in the garage so we will see how it fells when I am actually using the blower.

I'd say you've got it working just right. Just the right amount of response time in my opinion.

Looks good!

Only 1 point of interest!

I did the same thing and mounted with "cylinder". Up like a hydraulic cylinder.

If you flip it; will prevent moisture from entering the inner workings

The actuator shaft does have an O-ring in the housing but I don't know how
well it protects the motor.

I thought about that but if I flip it the screws that hold iy together will be up
and i was afraid that water would get in that way. I was thinking about getting a cover for the shaft, something like a shock absober boot.
