Loader lift capacity on Grand L 5460/6060 HST cab

The L47 is an industrial TBL rather than an ag machine. It's got a real frame I believe rather than just bolting the transmission housing to the engine to hold the machine together. It's designed to be abused with a hoe day in & day out. They tend to be 30% heavier per HP or something in that ballpark. The loaders aren't quick removable like on the Grands either.

I'd have looked at em harder, but I was upgrading to a cabbed machine & they have no cab options. They are also a fair bit more expensive than the Grands too.

I have a 2005 L39, first of the (L39/L45/L47 Line) somewhat Modified and reinforced here and there. I think I'd be on my 2nd or third grand L what I put that little bugger through. I've have quite a few posting on TBN about my L39, just do a search. A soft cab gets me thru the winter.

The official answer is look at the specs on the owners manual and/or workshop manual. All Kubotas are within 50-100psi or so of 2,500psi though. Dont mess with anything until you confirm things with a pressure gauge.

The process to shim the tractor relief valve is in the workshop manual. It's the tractor hydraulics & relief valve, not the loader. Generally its adding some shim washers under the spring on the relief valve.

Nope.

HST uses the common hydraulic fluid sump & fluid, but is otherwise completely separate. Its internal pressures are a lot higher than the other hydraulic systems. Its also much more revision surfaces & sensitive to fluid contamination. So it has it's own finer filter than the rest of the hydraulic system.

Could someone with a workshop manual post the process to shim the tractor relief valve that is in the workshop manual by chance?

Thanks for the Link Fallon... I looked threw it and didn't even see my tractor or FEL listed for some reason.
