My LS XR4150 is just at 50 hours. A couples hours ago I noticed the loader curling slower. Now it will not curl at all in lower RPM, I have to put it up to 1500 or so to get it to curl even then it's very slow. This is to get it to curl up. To curl down it seems to be ok maybe just a little slow but nothing very noticeable. The rest of the loader works fine raises/lowers the same as it was new. I have it scheduled to go in to the dealer for the 50 hour service and to look at the issue but they are a couple weeks behind on work. Any idea what this could be? The fluid is full. Thanks

Brian

95% of the "my loader won't xxxx" problems are solved by disconnecting the four couplers, cleaning them, then reconnecting them.

just wipe them off really good or anything specific need to be done? I'm assuming this needs to be done on both male and female ends?

WD40 works great for cleaning them off, some guys use bake cleaner but I feel its a bit harsh on the o-rings. Yes, both sides.

i assume quick connects are n the loader hydrualic lines. quick connects it is just one of them things, as kennyd noted.

if me, before you start it up for the first time that day, with tractor off. run through all the hydrualic levers FEL to 3pt, and acting like you are raising / lowering / curling / etc... to take any pressure off the lines. then disconnect the quick connects, and re-connect them.

if tractor been running, far any given amount of time, hydraulic oil warms up, and so do the hoses causing them to expand, once you disconnect and take your time messing around, the lines cool down and pressure builds as the hoses contract, making it harder to reconnect the quick connects.

granted it should be nice and simple doing, but stuff happens.
