Logging winch

About the undue stress. I observed a smaller tractor with a farmi pulling from the top pulley. As it pulled the blade went into the ground as designed and as the top link held the winch upright, the bottom links started to fold from the weight of the tractor. There was some bend in the bottom links that were designed into the machine and I am sure that that aggravated the problem. As far as the winch, I am sure that farmi puts out a good unit.

Thanks for all the replies fellows. You can bet that I am checking them all out & that Farmi auto disconnect snatch block too.

I hear ya, and expect there are some cheapo units out there that don't belong in front of a Farmi winch. Kind of sorts out the "wheat" from the "chaff". Glad for the input.
