Loss of power. Half filled fuel filter

I had the same issue on my B3200. I cleaned out the tank. There was granular debris on the bottom of the tank. It has been running great since then.

The fuel line comes from the tank to the filter. Then a hose runs from the filter to the pump.
I pulled the fuel line off and it flowed well into a white bucket; there were just a few specks of dirt. I blew out the line. I removed and cleaned the filter; not much in there either. I pulled the line from the filter to the pump(i think) and blew it out. Did the same with the vent line. I also blew some air through the filter housing. I put it all back together and added fresh diesel. It started fine and I ran the brush hog for about 20 minutes without problem. Thank for all of the advice.
On another note, I have this post and my forum settings to notify me via email when I get a reply or PM. I am not receiving any emails. I checked my spam folder as well.

Well It did it again today! I was out moving snow on my road and it started bogging down again. The fuel is treated and fine. The filter was replaced a couple of weeks ago and it still looks new. This time the filter remained full of fuel.

I drained the tank again, of course, it was full! the fuel flowed freely. I removed the filter. I blew out the hoses. I put everything back together. I poured in 5 oz of Seafoam and 1/2 gallon of fuel. I ran it for about 20 minutes clearing my neighbor's driveway, topped off the tank and finished clearing my road.

I think I would like to replace my 17 yr old fuel lines. Can someone tell me what size I need to buy?
Does anyone know how to get at the tank to remove and clean it out?
What is the small item that is connected between the fuel filter and the injection pump? Could that be an issue?

I am open to suggestions.

Thanks

Based upon your description, and what has been done, I would consider replacing the mechanical fuel pump (lift pump). Easy to spend someone else’s money, but $115 isn’t too bad.
Changing 17 year old lines and checking the fuel filter housing are both cheaper possibilities. I don’t know what line size a B2910 has, but my last 3 kubotas used 5/16” I believe, it’s usually printed on the line.

If you do buy the mechanical pump suggested above, make certain to get the gasket also. It may not be included with the pump and purchased separately.

Does the b2910 have a mechanical fuel pump? Can someone point me to a link, I can't seem to find one.
