LS Tractor Oil, Gas, & Air Filter Information

I went through whole thread did i miss filter numbers for xj2025h?

ok I've read through the thread, and early posts talk about conoco hydraulic fluid.....my manual calls for API GL4 ISO VG 32/46....so what is everyone using? I do have a TSC in my little town, and their brand (Traveler All Season) is ISO 46.....is this sufficient? I'm over 40 hours and gathering what I'll need for my 50 hour service, and I know I'll need a little to replace what I lose changing the filter.

I have ben through this thread but have not seen a list of the 3100 series if anyone has the filter # would you please share with me i have the XG3135 with a L3C19-T Engine so does the XR3140 and the XR4140 through the XR4155 have the same engine L3C19-T, my dealer tells me that the filters on the XR4100 series wont fit the 3100 series and he dont have the filter #yet, (he is a small dealer)even though they have the same engine. Any one care to share info on this.

I still want to know what Hydro Oil to use. Dealer gave me a gallon of 303, but others say not to use that. I can't find anything in stores that is labelled for GL4.

ok so everyone is using the wix 51715 filter, I can get that local but good grief is the thing lined in gold or something? I did a cross reference, and the only thing that's coming up is Luber Finer LFH8207, that I can order on amazon for $32.50. Years ago I worked at a place that used Luber Finer filters on their dump trucks, has anyone here used them or have anything to say about them? I don't remember ever hearing anyone there say anything negative about them...

Tractor Supply has our hydraulic fluid on sale thru Sunday 27.99 for 5 gallons. To do a fluid change takes 8.5 the 2.5 gallon is 21.99.

Is that the red label? That the one for our tractors. A fluid and filter change is 8. 5 gallons

More of a brown/bronze label I'd say. My machine only calls for around 4 gallons.

Message via the dealer says LS agrees this is the right one to use.

Search doesn't work real well. Is there a cross for the MT125 Main Suction Hydro filter; 40195621. One that won't be a warranty problem?

For us owners of 3025(H) tractors, that goes to the hydrostat system. Our main Filter is 3 times that size. Great filter and one specified by LS for our tractors. Not cheap though

I already knew that the LS engine was/is in several other makes of tractors.

Even more, I hope it's right. I think they're using it in the Workmaster 35 (the NEW one) and the Farmall 35A. I think. Getting a headache
