Ok, what I came up with. I rolled some roofing flashing to shroud the cable and duct taped it in place, then I took some boat rubber bumper trim and duct taped between the cable and the bracket to keep the corners of the gap in the bracket from digging into the flashing. I hope this last a while. Probably will have to fix it again sometime down the road.
Now, I need to see if my dealer will replace the braided fuel lines before it goes out of warranty. Mine are not leaking yet, but with my luck they will start 1 week out of warranty. I should have gotten them to fix them when I had it in the dealer a few weeks ago, but it slipped my mind.
