Mahindra Paint Fade

I have a 2009 Mahindra 2816. The main tractor, hood, fenders, etc is still as red as the day I bought it. I will say that the FEL is turning slightly pink. Hopefully you are right and there was a bad batch of paint. I will cry if my 2816 starts turning a "girly" color!

I can tell you that you will not go wrong by buying from Galen at Lawall's. My original purchase was at a dealer close to my home, that will remain nameless, as I would not send an enemy there. Since then I found Galen's dealership and take all my business to him. He is an honest, good man, that will be upfront with you and spend time tending to all your concerns. I have gone to him for everything concerning my 5530, from filters for regular maintenance to attachments. Once we get a few big ticket items taken care of on our property I will go to him when time comes to get myself an 8560 as you are looking for. A good example of how well he has taken care of me is the amount of time he spent on the phone and on his lot explaining how to make a minor adjustment on my 5530 to alleviate a small issue I was having. Galen never once acted like I was wasting his time, even though he knew I was going to do the work myself. Turned out he was spot on about the adjustment, since I didn't need to purchase any parts from him he didn't make a dime off his time. I have looked over the 8560 on his lot, good solid machine and wouldn't hesitate to send you my recommendation of Galen. Good luck and best wishes. Red is notorious for fading. It still protects the metal. Thats the most important to me. I will paint it over with green one of these days.

Will it make a red tractor worth more if it is painted green? Heck add a plastic hood and fiberglass fenders and it may be worth double

I found that the loader faded a lot more than my tractor, I guess the factory paint is better than add on equipment.

I have noticed the same thing. I have wondered if the same paint is used as the tractors are made in Japan and the loaders are made in the US. Could this be an EPA thing?

The KMW 106 loaders were powder coated, and are turning pink. However, the 15 series tractors are painted, and if kept inside will tend to hold color quite well; especially when waxed with materials containing ultraviolet light blocking ingredients.

I have never waxed my 2615 and she looks great however the 106 loader is a bit pinkish. I guess it's ok as I live with a wife, two daughters , and even the dog is female
