Market Value MT250D

My Father (82) is moving from his 4 acre lake lot into a condo in the city.
He is dispersing some equipment and I am trying to find a fair value to list his Mitsubishi MT 250D.

He also has a LandPride RTA 1258 tiller, & a Agro-Trend Model 1060 snowblower.

The tractor doesn't have many hours on it, showing less than 1200 on the meter. It seems like it is still working, & as far as I know has never quit.

It has a strong running diesel engine.
He probably wants more than it is worth, knowing that to replace with a new diesel tractor of that size is costly, but realizing its 40 years old (or possibly more) I am not sure he will get any interest at his price.

The tractor doesn't have a loader attachment & never has.

I was thinking to list it all as a complete pkg at $8000 OBO CAD would be a good starting point.
I think that 2-2500 would be value for each attachment, but maybe that is too optimistic.
Just trying to see if anyone knows what these tractors have been selling for.

I bought a MT250 4WD/FEL I think it was 33HP.
There was a dealer here selling gray market tractors imported from Japan.
The majority of use was pumping water from one rice paddy to another at that time they were going from $3K to $7K depending on hrs and condition.

See if your Dad's machine has any of the options. A loader today goes for $3,000. Your asking price is a bit too high for an older machine. About $6K CAN would be a fair price. And the attachments depends on what they are for pricing. 5ft Box Blades and straight blades are $1K CAN presently for new.

The one I bought was bare bones, no ROPS only option was loader, the gray market tractors were not certified for highway use in the USA.
I paid $3800 I don't remember exact date I think around 2014.

Its not that hard at all to make the tractor highway use capable.

In some states, it's headlamps and the SMV hanging off the back with nothing more.

Yes, he is asking around 8800 CAD.

He has a snowblower & rototiller. I think each attachment should be worth 2500, so that would put a 3800 value on the tractor.

Lots have called, but no one has really showed to take a look.

He has an Agrotrend 1060 blower, and a Land Pride RTA 1258 tiller.


I don't think he's too far out on the pricing now.
