Massey GC & Kubota BX Front Quick Hitch Compatable?

The quick hitch systems used by Massey on the GC series and Kubota on the BX series look identical from the mating tongue forward.

Can anyone confirm that the implements are interchangeable? Would a BX snow blower or rotary broom fit on the Massey quick hitch and vice versa?

I'am pretty sure that the massey,kubota,new holland all use the same sleeve hitch for the implements.The quick hitches however are set up different for each different tractor.Larry.

I also believe the quick hitch is different on the tractors. It might be relatively simple to fab a female receiver on the implements, but the MF is a triangle shaped male hitch that drives up into the female receiver on the implement. I have not seen that on the others. If you have then I stand corrected.

I can tell you this much,I order a quick hitch sub frame for the GC2300 couldn't get one so made my own.Copied the design from the Kubota bx 1800 and made mine basicially the same.So as far as I can see the male part is the same on them all,as well as the female sleeve.The best I can say is go to a massey.new holland,kubota and take a tape measure and measure width,length,thickness and you'll see there the same in that way.[By the way I haven't done this but if you want to make sure???] Larry

OK, I've done more research and it looks like the external insert may be the same. The difference in the quickhitch would be in the mounting arrangement (bolts, holes, supports, drive line, etc). The next question is: does that mean the various snowblowers will match up?

That's a Kubota B series subframe snowblade, not a BX series Quick Hitch system.

I'm about to change shades from orange to red and I'm going to try to use my old BX blower on my new GC2410.

I'll pass on the findings when I take delivery.

The front and center of this shoe look about the same including the method of attatching to the front of the tractor with the "pinch T bolt", however I do not have the same layout of the bearing retainer for the front driveshaft, the Massey drive shaft is centered and is short, not offset as this appears to be. (GC series).
