I'm with the I don't see the need for it gang. And I would not likely buy any mechanized vehicle in it's first year of production- just because Kioti wants to move the metal to those who are looking to pay less then the competition's prices. JMHO.

I have uses for a Mule type vehicle that a Jeep would never be able to handle. Mine is used for dog training, I have exercise bars attached that I can run the dogs from, use it sometimes to follow the dogs while they are free running, transport birds, feed, etc. Now some of those things a Jeep could do but probably wouldn't be nearly as manuverable.
For those of you who have the Kiotis, what is the ride like? My Mule is the roughest darn thing, that is my only complaint.

Sat in a Mechron at the dealer the other day. My head touches the roll bar at the top back. No go for me.

Neighbor came over with his (just delivered by Batchelder's) last night. Nice rig. I sold my mule a couple months ago and couldn't wait any longer, so bought a Polaris Ranger XP. The Mechron has a little less towing capacity, but a bigger box, capable of carrying more, diesel and a lot less money;aaah crap

Just priced one today @ Empire Farm Days....9999. (cash) was all I was quoted
that price is good thru Sept 30th.....looks wider than a Kabota 900. Kabota is the only thing out there to compare this to.

It's wider, has higher ground clearance, and more power going up hill... it's definitely a worthwhile workhorse if that's what you're looking for

Mechron is one of the widest on the market at 61" wide...btw they ride great!

just received a new mechron yesterday. Got the free top, and have a whopping 2 hours on the clock. first impressions are very good. a bit lowder than my mules , but it is a diesel. the ride is great.it has a bit of pep also that i am pleased with. Need to find a good gun rack for it. love the 50 amp alternator so i can use the cig lighter for the spotlight.
