Is it true that I can make my MF4345 into a 4355 by turning up a screw on the fuel injection pump 3 turns? And will it hurt anything? It will burn about 3/4 a gallon more fuel per hr I guess, but 10 more horse power would be nice for pto work. Please let me know if anyone has herd of this before. Thanks,Mike.

For alot of tractors yes that can be done. It is harder on fuel but take a look at the specs and you'll see the engines are probably the same, thoguh the higher horse may be turbo while yours isn't or something.

If you want maximum HP from your engine call around to your local tractor dealers and ask if they can dyno the engine for you. They will hook dyno up to pto and adjust engine to max HP at pto which is where you want your HP. If you over turn screw you are too rich and drop HP but burn more fuel. Dyno test would probably pay for itself in long run as engine is then running at MAx. HP and performance without sacrificing fuel.
