I have a 471 with cab that has the cab air filter on the outside of the cab on the RH side. I hit a low hanging tree branch and broke the top of the cover. Called my local MF dealer she could not find the part #, she said I will get back to you. When she did call back it was all bad news for me. She had to send an email to MF to find the part number they told her that the part is no longer made, obsolete, there be the problem. Check with a few junk yards, to see maybe they had one parting out, nope. Can anyone recommend which direction to go. There has to be one sitting around collecting dust that someone would be willing to part with. Thank you in advance for the help. I forgot to add the part number MF gave, 6204315M91

Worst case, just find something pliable and waterproof (like a thin plastic piece), wrap a layer of black Gorilla tape on the piece, then use the Gorilla tape to secure the piece back on.

That’s what I would do for the time being, at least. Won’t be perfect, but should get the filter working properly until you locate a new piece.

it's thermo plastic so get yourself a fiberglass repair kit at the auto parts store, remove it and glass it using the fiberglass mat resin on a flat surface, Let it cure (you have to mix the resin with hardener), let it cure (harden) scuff the outside with 180 grit paper and paint it to match, no big deal and next time, watch where you are going.
