Mini-TBN meet in Vermont

Ah hah! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Mike and Garry, your replies have uncovered the root-cause of my confusion. I do not drink coffee in any form. Now that I think of it, I do not drink hot beverages of any kind.

Hmm /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif, as matter of fact, I don't drink beer either. And, six weeks ago I gave up drinking sugary drinks too.

Good news: I've lost 15 lbs /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Bad news: It appears I'm really dull and don't get out much /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

( ...the question is, when you burn your mouth from the hot coffee, do you sue the place you got your coffee, or the maker of the cup sleeve that covered the disclaimer on the cup? Or do the cup sleeves have disclaimers on them also?

AndyM -- You should remain a Starbuck's customer. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The sleeves at Starbucks have the disclaimer on them. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif )

Hmmm, we must cater to a more intelligent crowd...

I was wrong... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

The cafeteria here at work 'proudly serves Starbucks coffee'. They provide the Starbucks cup and a coffee sleeve. However, it's not a Starbucks sleeve, it's a Cup Buddy from International Paper and there's no warning on it. I have attached a picture of said Cup Buddy. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I used to drink Starbucks from our cafeteria. However, once we got our own coffeemaker (a Capresso purchased from Green Mountain Coffee /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif), and a gold filter and discovered Maxwell House Columbian Supreme coffee, I no longer patronize our cafeteria for coffee.

Pete, if you haven't checked out Maxwell House's Columbian Supreme, you should. I am a proud home delivery patron of Green Mountain Coffee. One of the beans we get every 7 weeks is the Columbian Supremo and I am hard pressed to tell the difference between the GMCR bean at home from the Maxwell House version here at work.

Well Mike, maybe that's because you killed your taste buds from drinking all of that Starbucks cafeteria coffee! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Coffee is a serious subject not to be taken in vain.

Last week I woke up at the lake and found the coffee had been forgotten. It was not a happy morning.
