Mine is the 60'' single lid. They also have double lids.
As you can see in the pics...I reclaimed a 7 acre overgrown pasture with this one and dug up those two rocks out of that pasture

Some like the long bottom double lid.
Call travis and tell him your intensions and he'll help you decide

I am sure EA, Land Pride, etc make great grapples but they are pricy. I had a Wild Kat grapple on my last tractor for ten years with no problems. I have an MTL on my current tractor and it has performed well at less than a third of the price of a Land Pride. I use a grapple a lot to push up trees and move brush, trees, etc. I do not have to deal with rocks. If your use will be brush you can save funds and get a good grapple at a reasonable price.

Yep......my 60" E-series root grapple has been shipped, and tracking shows arrival in two more days.
$1,152 delivered, From Mid-State Attachments in Denton, NC.
Long lower tines (not cross connected), and 52" opening.
My use is for brush and vines only, with not a rock for 10+ miles around.

I have two EA attachments, but their grapples are very pricey, and none of their tine designs would work well for my application.

yep they are pricy, but they are made with some of the best steel. And, USA BUILT. No cheap heavy chinese stuff

yep they are pricy, but they are made with some of the best light weight steel on the planet. And, USA BUILT. No cheap heavy chinese steel which takes away from your lift capacity

Why buy an expensive tractor, then worry about the cost of quality USA built attachments ?

"Best steel"..... does not have priority over the utility of an effective grapple tooth design for my needs.
Mid-State Attachments are BUILT in the USA,.........Denton, NC!

Should I have bought an EA grapple that would not meet my grapple design needs, simply because it was built by EA?
Would anyone buy a dump truck, when their application requires a pickup?

When I was shopping for both my grapples, I found there are several brands built in North Carolina. I would imagine NC and tractor implements is like Missouri and trailers with several small manufacturers is in area that steal designs and employees from one another.

Because I bought my tractor intending to keep it for years while implements area going to get beat up. If I bend or break an implement I throw it on a trailer and take it to a welding shop. I used my last cheap grapple hard for ten years and it half up. My BIL bought the tractor with grapple and continues to use it.

I’m not saying the OP should buy a cheap grapple but there are less expensive options depending on his uses.
