Looks like the other place my kubota dealer told my about carries the wildkat attachments . So going to look at them tomorrow . He priced the 74" single lid for $1700 . So it maybe the one I get . He said he just a whole trailer loads of wildkat grapples in .

i have a 74" wildkat bought it at Ritchie Brothers auction for 1200. they sy it weighs about 850lbs i think it is at least 100 lbs lighter. i wanted one tht would be wider than my tires. i have been using it to clear land. push over small tree and clean up. run it on a JD 5055E lift capacity at the pins is 3100

before

and after all done with the grapple

Well I ended up with this wildkat its not the extreme like I was planning to get . As the extreme seemed way to heavy duty and it sure looks super heavy in person . And the dealer didn't get the 66" in on the truck and the 74" just looked way to much of a monster . We didn't have a weight of the one I got so I have to call wildkat and find out . It's got to be way lighter than the extreme . But still looks more than plenty stout . I got it in a 72" as the next size smaller was 60" I felt it wasn't that much lighter . Got to dark when I got home with it and to cold to put it on and play with .

As you will soon find out the weight of brush and trees is not like a bucket of wet mud and you will not come close to your weight limitations on that tractor. Good price! Similar bottom tine design as mine. let us know how it works out for you. How are you connecting the hydraulics?

To the 3rd function that I had the dealer install when I bought the tractor last year . I knew I was going to get a grapple when I bought it .

Play'n with the grapple today . Going to have to shim the quick hitch part up on the grapple has some slack . And get the hoses where they stay out the way . But over all going to be fun use'n it .

Thanks ya I love it so far . I like it because I can rake with ease and instead of having to get the tines under what ever I picking up I can curl over on top of it and grab with easily .
Can't do that with the other design with the two independent lids . And on that design ya can't back rake with the lid . And they want close as tight as these design either . And when ya dump it ya don't have to curl down as far to dump .

I think you did well, that is the style I wanted but ended up buying the titan grapple for the price. mine works fine and is really heavy duty but I think your single lid design and the lower teeth would be a bit easier for clean up work.
Nice unit, enjoy. Bruce
