It's pee caughn......a pee can is what you put under the bed at night.

As far as northerners and southerners.....I have been both.....do what I do.....mind your business, be polite, remember your manners, remember where you are, and hate all people equally. I dont care what color, creed, religion, or faith you are....if your are an a hole, you are no friend of mine.

I susgest South Louisiana and in the Lafayette area, I love that area but too old to make the move. I lived about 70 miles south of New Orleans for close to 35 yrs and had to move when my first wife was fighting Brest Cancer for her to spend as much time with her mother as possible, got stuck in Mississippi and never moved back ☹️
The Food is fantastic and Cajuns are great fun loving folks.

I have, after much thought, figured out how to tell a Yankee Woman from a Southern Woman! Yankee women do not even nod their head or say," thank you" for holding the door for them. No smile either. No wonder you Yankee guys are so cranky, you've got cranky women. :D Let me tell you how to cheer them up. About once a week, as the gal walks past your lazy boy easy chair, reach out and slap her on the behind and say, "Get in thar' and make me a sammich, woman!". Guaranteed to cheer 'em right up. Lets 'em know they are loved and appreciated! :confused2:

On another note: If most of us came from "English" stock (seems everyone's relatives came over on the Mayflower...man, that must have been some overloaded ship...lol") how come we don't still talk like the English from England? Or at least somewhat like them. Just wondering, or "wandering" as we say down here in the Deep South. ;) Oh, and pass me a piece of the PeeeCan Pie. :licking:

Dont worry that much about snakes. Most areas there not as common as people make them out to be or fear. And just tap your boots out. NO big deal

One other little thing to worry about if you live in the South is that there are things that can eat you.

All along the areas that don't get real winter, these little beauties abound. Now mind you they seldom mess with you if you don't mess with them, but dogs seems to be a delicacy for them. I have lived almost my entire life in the South and have seen gators since I was a kid (not too far from the Okefenokee Swamp and pretty much everywhere when I lived in Florida) but I will never get used to seeing a "prehistoric" creature in modern civilization.
