Socally, that point is where we got stuck. You can see that the deck on the left hand side is touching the tree. We left the house sitting overnight in that location and tackled the problem the next morning. I slept in the house that night - thought I was going to have to strap myself into bed as the whole place was on something like a 15o tilt.

There are some smart ways to bring down the cost of moving. For that
you have to plan your moving accordingly to optimize the cost of moving.
You can find a lot of goods at your house that are not very useful for everyday
living and these kinds of goods are available almost everywhere.
More number of dependent family member increases the moving cost.

Working under the house with only about 5 feet of headroom was a real chore and meant we couldn't get a machine into the foundations other than around the perimeter. We'd a trench to hand dig under the centre of the house along it's full length, plus a couple other party wall foundations. Formwork building, concrete pouring, spreading crushed rock and getting the sealer coat of concrete in the crawl space were all hampered by lack of head room.

I had mine cribbed up about 9' off the ground. We built the foundation up, then lowered the house. Heck, we had a skidsteer under there a couple of times and a mini ex digging a forgotten post support.

Was this more due to the terrain, or that they didn't have enough cribbing?
