I bought my tiller from the dealer. It's listed in my sig line. He let it go for $1600 when I bought my BX25 and MMM. It's a heavy duty gear drive. You can see it's results in the "turning up some soil today" thread in this forum.

It looks like it did a great job. I noticed it's a 60" tiller. How is that working for you?? I was just thinking about a 48", I just assumed a 60 would be to much for the BX.

I own a 3320 and use a 72" 3ph Mower. This allows me to get closer to the trees. I also get to do the job in a/c......... A good 3ph Mower could be found for much less than 4k. If your set on bagging though, get a ztr

Got a quote from the dealer for a landpride RTR0550 tiller , $2k. the king kutter XB is about $1250 in my area. I'm not sure the extra $$ is worth it for a couple of times a year I will be using it. Still pondering this.

It is a 60". I know it's larger than what the manual reccommends, but the dealer told me the BX would have no problem with it. He deals with Kubotas day in and day out and knows their limitations. I ran it at less than full throttle and it did just fine. I don't know what busting sod would be like with it, but I would rip it first any way, no matter the tiller size. We also have the world's best soil too, so a more clay or rocky texture may make a difference and cause a guy to go with a smaller unit. YMMV

I have rock hard adobe clay, so I went with a 37" Muratori tiller. Softer soil with roots already removed allows wider tiller widths. The harder and rockier/rootbound the soil, the narrower I would recommend one go

We have a 60" Kubota tiller that we run behind our B7500 and it works fine. I imagine that as long as it isn't muddy a BX could work as well.

I finally did it. I went to the dealer yesterday and ordered the 60" mower deck, bagger and landpride RTR0550 tiller. I had planned on getting the king kutter XB tiller but when I went to put some money down on the mower deck the dealer told me that when he shot me a price on the tiller, he forgot that he already had a tiller on the lot. It was $300 less than the price he had originally quoted me as it did not have the price increase. So all is good now. I can't wait to try out all the new toys.

I went down and got my tiller last Saturday and spend the following morning getting it set up on the BX. I haven't had a chance to get out and us it yet as it has been raining. But It really looks good on the BX so far. I just got a email from my dealer saying that my deck and bagger are in so it looks like I'll be heading back down there Saturday again to pick that up as well. So It looks like I'll be spending little more one on one time with the BX again this weekend getting everything set up.

Also this week Orscheln's had the king kutter subsoiler (yellow one) on sale for $119. I just couldn't resist so I bought it yesterday as well. Should be easy getting the taters out of the ground this year.

Now I just need it to stop raining so I can try all these new items out!!
