I just came in from cutting grass with my Scagg ZTR. It was between showers and the grass was up to 8" (Rebel Grass). Chewed it right up and left a clean cut. Course, I had to use my L2850 to pick up the front end of the ZTR to wash down the deck. Toys are fun!

Finally got out Sunday and used the tiller. It did an awesome job on my previously tilled gardens. The soil looked like potting soil out of a bag. On the other hand some of the new spots I tilled I really could not get it tilled as deep as I would have liked. It was late in the day when I started so I didn't have much time to fine tune anything. But I can tell you one thing it is a heck of a lot easier than the old walk behind tiller. The picture below was taken between adjustments. Notice I also mount my 60" mower deck this weekend as well. Once I get done with all this three point work I'll mount the bagger setup and include some pictures of that.

Well, mowed with my MMM for the first time today. Wow! What a machine, this thing just keeps impressing me. It did a fantastic job in fairly thick and tall grass (first mowing of the season). I ran it at about 2650 RPM and pedal to the floor most of the way. With the quality of the cut I was getting, I saw no need to run full throttle. I got the yard done faster than I ever have! (about 15 min. faster!)

Congratulations! So glad your decision is confirmed by the performance of a great machine. Keep having fun.

I am interested in adding a hydraulic top link. Are there any threads specifically about doing this to the BX25?

Go to the Search page; enter "Top Tilt BX"; select the first two of the Kubota forums and no other parameters. This search will bring up what you are looking for. Three manufacturers make the link you want:

Gearmore Products

Tractor Hydraulic toplinks, Top-N-Tilt, Side link cylinders

Rankin is the third, but their prices are much higher.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the links and suggestions. I started a new thread on the subject. It's the same idea except I'd like electric control rather than all of the plumbing and valves up in my operating space. What I've seen looks a little crowded and sloppy. I'd like to conceal as much of the plumbing as possible and control it with a simple toggle switch. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, but it's just in the thinking stage right now.
