This is the finished entertainment center. The beuty of it is it doesn't take up any room, sounds amazing and looks good.

Kitchen cabinets are the Mills Pride brand from Home Depot. You assemble them yourself. I love them, cheap, well built, a great finish and just about any size you could need.

Space is very limited, so was wall height.

Finished kitchen. Every inch counted, especially with the wall units. I barely have enough room for the microwave and almost no counter space.

The kitchen is also part of the living room and there is no dining room. At 400 sq ft of living area, I couldn't have everything.

The bathroom.

It's allot bigger than people expect.

The sink was a kit from Home Depot that included the cabinet and cultured marble sink for $100. I had to notch the sheetrock on the sides to get it in nice and tite.

I also brought the back wall forward 18 inches so the front of the sink would line up with the shower. This way I can be at the sink and not squeezed in between two walls.

The wall between the shower and sink is only 2 1/2 inches to save space.

This was probably the hardest thing to install. The a laundry unit.

It's 27 inches wide, the door is 32 inches, so no problem there. The hall is 34 inches, so no problem, the inside demensions of the laundry room are 3 inches.

I thought I could reach around it once it was installed and hook everything up. No way, impossible!

Right behind this room is my water heater. I had to cut a hole in the wall behind the washer/dryer from the water heater closet and connect everything by feel.

Now that the front half was done, I could sleep on the couch while building my bedroom. I was sleeping on the floor in the bedroom while building the living room and kitchen.

This is all out of scrap wood. Notice the three drawers at the foot of the bed and the big open space is for my photo album storage.

Next I needed a desk for the computer. I was without any internet access for several months.

The wood is salvaged pine from a kitchen remodel I did last year. I had to plane it down to get the old finish and cooking greese off, but the results worked.

The last thing to do was the closet. Notice how the ceiling sloped down to the height of the doors. I had to cut 2 inches off the bottom of the doors and recess the brackets into the ceiling.

This is my side storage area. When I first started building the barn, there were supposed to be two of these storage areas. Now I live in one and this one is getting crowded.

I'm a big fan of lots of water spickets and a sink inside the barn. I used a trencher to run the drain line for my sink.

I love this sink. I use it everyday to wash up after greasing a tractor of just getting a glass of water.

These are also the only working electrical outlets that I've connected. That's one of those rainy day projects.

My list of things to finish it off completly include organizing my woodworking tools, adding outlets and pouring concrete. None are going to happen anytime soon.

Last Picture.

This is most of my collection from my travles around the world. 32 big game species.

My happy place!

Thanks for all the advice and encouragement along the way.

Sincerly,
Eddie
