Nice seeing the pictures of your progress. I've never actually seen a SIP in person, so it's always interesting to me to see the process of installing them.

That sure is a fancy caulking gun. Never seen one of those either!!!!

Eddie, my wife was excited about the caulk gun. My caulk beads always look terrible. I believe There is an adapter available, that lets you use regular caulk tubes.

Also, if you look close, you can see that they made a mistake with the last panel that I put up. They cut both in the same direction And the should be in opposite directions. The roof slope should have continued all the way to the top. It is fixable but annoying.

When I built I glued my subfloor to the joists, and that was tiring with a large caulk gun.

What video editing sw do you use? I use Corel video studio. I just updated to new version for $20. Really good. My son uses it for publishing videos to YouTube. He adds music tracks and voice tracks afterwards.

I use iMovie. Free with my mac. it works well but in the last couple months there seems to be an issue with an update and it stops responding and I have to force close. It took me a long time just to learn the basics of editing. it wasn't intimidating just convoluted. As I go, it gets a little easier. The house is single story, because I plan on this being my last home. Navigating the mountain is strugle enough. I don't' want to go up and down stairs when I'm old.

Just to give a little teaser on the house design. This is one of the sketch pictures from over a year ago....some changes have been made. There will be no garage underneath. And my wife said no way on the color.

Is the wall like that due to the original design?

Then I don’t understand the mistake.

How do you fasten to the panel to lift them?

Im not sure how they managed to make that mistake. I imagine it is a CNC type system so someone probably typed in a value wrong.
