My Industrial Cabin Build

I am trying to figure that out. I post everything by phone, because we have terrible internet at home. Satellite. Its dreadful.

Speaking of Internet, what are you going to do for an ISP at your new place? It looks fairly remote. Do you get good cell signal there?

We had a camper up there till early this year. I had DSL run. 10 meg internet. Also, where we are now there was no usable cell service until I put in a cell phone booster system. Now we have LTE so thAt will be going with us.

Ah. Well, that's not too bad. 10Mb/s DSL is certainly livable. What type of cell booster did you get? How does that work, since you said you didn't really have usable service without it? Can't it really only extend the service you do have (well, increase the local signal, but still stuck with the best that the tower is getting to your property)?

We live in a 150 year old 2 story house. On the second floor you could pick up 1 bar if you stood by the back window in the hallway. When we had power outages my daughter used to go up there to send or receive texts. So I mounted the Antenna outside that window pointed toward the cell tower that is 12 miles away. I ran the wire down the side of the house and came in the same penetration that the old disc tv used. It worked and we have had good cell service since. It is a Wilson WeBoost. Not the bottom line model but just below small office/commercial. I used Wilson components to design a cell booster system for a rural bank headquarters about 12 years ago so I had some experience prior to this.
I need to finish the Cell Booster review video I started a couple month ago.

Just to give a little teaser on the house design. This is one of the sketch pictures from over a year ago....some changes have been made. There will be no garage underneath. And my wife said no way on the color.
