I meant around the edges. If I'm really expecting strong winds, I'll roll up the edges of the plastic and get the 2x4 over the rolled up plastic and screw through all of it.
Buckeye, I used some on that bolt and also sunk a tapcon on the edge of the Plate, then switched to tapcons for the rest of the posts. They seem to work well.
I had big hopes for yesterday.
My employer had a very large, public profile project that I had to support yesterday morning. It went well and by noon, I thought I had the rest of the day to work. As soon as I arrived on the farm, I got called back and had to work till midnight. I am awaiting an update email this morning to see my fate.
Just curious since you have already done it, but why didn't you get posts half as thick and install them to the inside of the SIP panel? You would have your full insulation behind the post, it would have been plenty strong enough to support anything, and you could get two for the price of one, or just cut one in half?
