What if tell the dealer and Kioti that you would like the replacement loader put on one of the dealers brand new kl130 on his lot and the brand new frame on your tractor due to all the delays. Have the dealer swap them, I bet the dealer would love that, what the hey they are both brand new right?

I think it is just the point of it being less than perfect. I could be wrong speaking for Highbeam, but I'm sure the scraped up loader news was the last thing HB wanted to hear after the long wait for the resolution. Hopefully they don't have the guy who welded it also paint it.

You got that right. I am less than confident in the dealer's fix-it skills. I know that the paint could be done very well by the right guy with the right equipment. This is an identical situation to the weld repair where it could be done right or it could end up ruined. This time though, Kioti was warned.

Why is it so hard for Kioti and its dealers to accomplish anything? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Isn't the shipper responsible??

after modifying and repainting my grill guard- and repainting my rops just because it had a scratch or two- I learned I could do better than factory with proper sanding and applying Chevy Orange spray paint and Rustoleums medium gray for the rops---could have won 1'st place in a tractor show /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

sometimes I just get irritated and take out my frustration by redoing others poor results myself

This sounds like one of those situations that I've seen many times over my life. One problem happens, and during the exercise of fixing that problem, something else happens, then something else. It always seems to be with only one person, and others go by without a hitch. Weird when that happens, but it does happen.

I wonder if it is the fault of the carrier, after all, they had the
loader for quite some time, and probably shipped it in several different trucks. Probably scraped it up in the transfers.

You did the right thing responding in the negative, in my opinion as to your satifaction with the "fix."

I also agree that simply swapping a good loader from another tractor on the lot would be in order. It's amazing sometimes how one just can't see the obvious, and seems your dealer is difinitely one of those people who is going through life unable to give an accounting of himself!

As to Kioti waiting for a response from the maker, that's most likely the case. The same thing happened a couple of years ago with tires. Well, not the same, but tires were not available for a while. That was due to the tire manufacturer (titan tires) selling to all the major brands. Those with larger sales (kubota, NH, Deere et al) were getting their orders first.

Taesung, the maker of the loader, has to engineer this fix. Kioti can only wait on them to do the work. I wouldn't expect that to happen quickly, as R&D is not something done on the quick. I agree that some sort of notification to owners of these loaders is in order, and that's where Kioti is falling down on the job in this instance.
