I fluid filled both my rear tires for better traction.
Keep in mind I don't live in a Subdivision lol
Made a big Difference.

They held 13gals per tire = 100lbs & the xtra weight isn't on the machine or axles.

Thanks, I responded on another thread but, I’m interested in how this works for you? Fluid used?

19 hours in 10 days. Anxiously awaiting my Gator Blades. The stock blades don’t mulch last fall’s leaves at all.

I’m still at 8.8 hrs and got it last fall. I probably have the smallest area to mow with mine compared to y’all. I try to use the batwing for as much as I can.

I use Zero turn a lot this time of year so, I can easily see fawns in deep grass.

This morning.

Love it. Now that our outside dogs ran off I hope to see much more wildlife like this. The dogs kept everything away and would kill anything they could.

When I cut leaves with my RFM with RD, I mow forward, stop & then BACK OVER the swath I just cut.
Then move over & repeat. That cuts it Twice. Works great.

RD doesn't retain clippings like a SD Deck. Two different animals.
I hope your Gator Blades helps, but I wouldn't look for a huge difference.

I used water & antifreeze mix to fluid fill my rear tires.

IMHO, the Gators work really well for mulching as long as grass, etc. is not too dry or too wet. Too dry = creates a powder and too wet creates a green mush far worse than normal. These were my results on an older ZD with 60 pro deck.

Since I have been following what you guys have recommended, thought I'd share that I got a ZD 1021 yesterday, little brother to Rick's machine. Didn't want to go bigger than 60" but wanted to go diesel. Big jump up from the lawn tractor I had been using, and I'm quite pleased with it so far, after only an hour on it yesterday.
