as you noticed they have very limited timing adjustment.

I know guys that can't get points open to .015 due to wear...

Crazy thought, when you press the dizzy shaft out does the point lobe come off too? Or is it part of the shaft?

Like I said someone had recently replaced point and condensor and shaft bushings. If the point lobe is deprecate and they did not mark it can the point lobe be removed and forwarded about 16 degrees? That would put it where it needs to be.

The fellow I bought this from is not mechanically inclined in any way hard to say what he did or did not do.

liner will fix that type of leak if you prep correctly.

there is a finger sized screen atop the tap.. a round disc screen int he tap.. and the screen in the elbow

should go out front with no replaceable lobe.. if it has thrust play look at the back of her.

i don't have a front dizzy in my hand mind you. mine has been installed on my 2n since 04.. which was also the last time i had to set points and timing on her as well.
