Crazy thought, when you press the dizzy shaft out does the point lobe come off too? Or is it part of the shaft?
Like I said someone had recently replaced point and condensor and shaft bushings. If the point lobe is deprecate and they did not mark it can the point lobe be removed and forwarded about 16 degrees? That would put it where it needs to be.
The fellow I bought this from is not mechanically inclined in any way hard to say what he did or did not do.
