My new truck finally arrived yesterday ..

Mine's an 2003 F250 XLT. Still more steel that rust... But not by much. My thought for when the frame goes was maybe to fly to a Southern metro area like Atlanta, buy a used truck that a yuppie used to haul his golf clubs, and drive it back. Dumb idea?

Plenty of them around here that will never see much of anything in the bed. Cracks me up to see all the 6" lifted F250 Platinum's & King Ranch's around here....

Trailers are for boats and tractors..... not motorcycles... Mine has been on a trailer once in its life due to cam chain tensioners going south while on a trip to Arkansas...

It would take me a very long time to cover much ground in my 1905 Oldsmobile... I think it took several months to for the first Curved Dash Olds to go from SF to the East Coast.

I've literally had well over a dozen F150's, my first one being a 1973 (that might have even been an F100!) in 1981. My last F150 just wasn't getting it done for my uses with the 5.0. It got 8-9 MPG on the trip that I mentioned and spent most of that trip in 4th gear. I figured if I was going to get 3/4 ton mileage, I was going to drive a 3/4 ton truck. Same trip, larger trailer and add a Harley trike to the same load as previously hauled and the 250 actually did about 1 MPG better. I also have a 6x12 CAM Superline dump trailer that I haul occasionally. It does much better with that when I have 4-5 tons of stone on than the F150. But of course I'd expect that. This year I've added a little larger tire and 5 Star Tuning tunes for 87 octane economy and 87 octane tow. We'll see how it goes when I leave for Florida tomorrow with 7x18 trailer and 4 Harleys in it, along with luggage for 4 in the truck bed with tonneau. As I said before, your new RAM is a nice looking truck. Keep us updated on how things progress with it.

Well, considering we had snow, freezing rain and rain all in one day today I guess I won't be riding from the NY/Canada border to Daytona! :thumbsup:
And 2 of our friends are flying down a week after I get there. I had to trailer their bikes down for them.

I wish that I could remember. Truck's been gone almost 2 years now. I want to say 3:73 but don't bet the farm on that. May have been 3:31.

2016 dodge ram 2500 laramie 4X4 with the 6.4 hemi 3.73 gears.Gonna hang on to my 2006 ford f150 4X4 for more of a work truck around the house.
