This tire setup is for sure unique. Very 1[emoji44]45 ish.
That’s the way they came so I didn’t know any different? Anyways, they had mismatched the wheels where they were flipped on rear so tire is closer to chassis on the offset and vice versa on front for the wider stance. I’m opting to leave the offset at the wheel hub so they’re a deep dish wheel for the wide stance for more stability. I’ll post pics very soon if them.

Since your wheel motor brackets are bolt on, you must have a mechanical linkage tram with a cable going back to the hydro drive pump (vs pilot controls). I must emphasize how important all these connecting parts are, including the arm pined to the hydro pump shaft, as in the links of a chain every one is important as the last link, these are the only things that control (STOPS) the drive torque and directions. Loose a part and who knows what the machine will do. Understand? IMHO it is the utmost of importance in safety.
I don’t see a cable or chain? I see the parking brake cable

Interstitign. That’s hydraulic directional control. Not cable. So post [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji6] or an upgrade

This is what I see of your post. :ROFLMAO:

So I'll try and interpret.. 🙃

My model year has a cable operated treadle pedal system. That cable goes back to the engine compartment to a device called a hydro back. The hydro back mounts to a bracket near the pump, and connects to a lever on the top of the tramp pump. I think the hydro back has a spring in it for centering the pedals. And as I recall, that's where I'll make any adjustments to get the wheels to NOT turn when the pedals are sprung back to the neutral position. I'll have to block the unit up off of all four tires the first time I start it up and operate the pedals to make sure there's no forward or backward creep.

Units newer than mine by a few years went to a hydraulic valve treadle system, as I recall.

What to the other sizes of PowerTracs besides the PT400 series used hydrobacks?

That looks like a hydraulic direction control treadle, so no cable.

All the best,

Peter

Interesting that you have the new pilot controlled fwd/rev, and yet your wheel motors are bolted on. All mine are a welded box with a hyd motor in it. (by memory, as I haven had to work on them yet)
