It was too wet today to do very much, so I went to Crutchfield and picked up a stereo and an Adapter. Since my wife has more seat time in the tractor than me and probably will for a while, It is her Mother's day gift. She loves her music. It wasn't hard to put in with the two piece screw caps they have although, I would describe the metal sleeve that came with the Kenwood marine radio I bought, as flimsy. It works well and sounds pretty good with the stock speakers.

That's my next addition, a radio. Would you know what type of adapter is needed? Would it fit other radio brands also ?

That scares me. I am at 22 hours and bought the filters and some oil to top it off after I change the filter. I just can't see the expense of bringing it in to the dealer to do but it seems they put those on tightly.

Also, the owners manual showed one hydraulic filter so I got a surprise when I looked under there and saw 2. The 6620 has only one but the 7320 and 9020 both have a dual set up.
What kind of clearance do you have to get in there? I wonder if your's being a larger model, may have a bit more room to reach them. On the rx, the loader frame to the rear axle is right underneath them - perfectly in the way.

I will look tomorrow. I am in the middle of moving. I will look and see how many filters their are as well.

I didn't have to take the tire off, but with the vise-grip chain wrench, I had 1/4 or 1/5 of a turn each time, to get it loose. Yes, it mangles the darn filter and it then spills out fluid. I opened up a large cardboard box under there, and used a drip pan I was covered in fluid when I finished. I am not sure if I will take it in for the 200 hour service or attempt that myself. The biggest challenge there, is that draining all 15+/- gallons of fluid...I have two large barrels for waste oil so that is not a problem, but when it comes out of there, that may be a problem , unless I syphon a fair amount out first.

BlueToy, the part number for the radio adapter is 70-7712. The brand is Metra
Metra 7-7712 Receiver Wiring Harness Connect a new car stereo in select 1995-24 Acura, Honda, and Isuzu vehicles at Crutchfield.com

It fit perfectly. total installation time for me, sitting in my truck to wire in the harness, then moving to the tractor was about an hour and 20 minutes.

Thank you, for the link to the connector. I was hoping it would be a simple plug in and done, did you plug it into the radio and then have to wire it up to the factory harness? I've never put in a radio before, but with the proper schematic, I'd give it a try.

Any chain wrench. The filters are applied and then painted. It is the paint that makes the filters a pita to remove. A chain wrench gets the job done.

You wire the colors on the harness to the colors on the radio the just snap the connector into the connector in the tractor. It is quite easy. There will be 2 wires on the harmess that don't get used. I put wire nuts on them just to keep them covered. But the connectors in the tractor side of the clip Probly didn't make contact with those anyway. Putting the thin metal sleeve into to opening was the biggest difficulty as mine was a little flimsy.
