My wifes even greater

Been out of town for a couple days...actually made a run up to Grizzly tools to pick up some stuff...my wife does not buy tools for me...I buy my own and she does not complain... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

More importantly, she has fed me almost 12,000 times, and that is only counting dinner! After over 30 years of marriage, I recently learned we have a washing machine! Dishwasher, yep we have one of those too...and it works even after dinner during power failures while I'm enjoying a quiet beer... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

She also hatched and raised two great daughters...doesn't expect me to hold the door for her...and does't rub it in too hard that she is the real boss, so I can do whatever I want as long as I stay within bounds...

And this coming Tuesday vacation starts...she is going back home to visit family and friends for a month!

Glad I have 31 pairs of shorts and tee shirts! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Will lose some weight over the next month though... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Man...I just can't seem to find any negatives... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

"I'm gonna miss her..." /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I would consider it an honor if you would consider taking mine for a month while yours is gone ...... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Henro,

I love reading your posts, your humour is great, i often ROL reading them. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif ROL i would like to use my normal aussie lingo PML here but i think it is frowned on in the US

Wish your wife all the best on her vacation back home.

Henro, I concede the nomination for knighthood to you. I'm coming up to 20 years with the lovely Mrs_Bob, she only hatched 1 daughter (but she is spoiled enough to be 2 kids), I've known about the dishwasher & washing machine all along (and learned how to use the washer after an unfortunate diesel experience) but there is one thing that I still have on you, and that is the extra week that Mrs_Bob is gone each summer!

"I'm gonna miss her..."
I take it you have heard the song , if not I can send it to you I saved it about the time I got divorced after 38 years!! and it was very apropos!!

Junkman, I do appreciate the offer but after seeing the picture of the vehicle your wife would fly down here on, I think I will have to pass... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Daedong, It took me a bit but I figured out what PML is. Just to clarify, around here it is only frowned upon if you do PML (or should I PYL in this case) inside the house where the wife will have to clean it up. Outside rather than frown upon it, we find it great for a laugh. If we ever meet up I hope you will demonstrate PML for however many TBNers might be present...we are always eager to experience the cultural activites of other lands... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Bob...hate to burst the bubble...this is her second trip back this year! Last time I had dig into the household reserves for extra shorts and tee shirts...30 pairs were not near enough...no sweat this time... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Archdean, does the song you are thinking of go something like..."I'm gonna miss her, but I like to fish. I spend all day out on the lake, and hell is all I catch..." ?

I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

OK Henro, I already conceded, but the lovely Mrs_Bob usually takes 3 trips a year, 2 at 2 weeks, and 1 at 5 weeks to go visit the in laws. So by my count, that little yappy white ankle biter of a dog she carries around with her is gone for 9 full weeks a year! And, while I still concede to you, the lovely Mrs_Bob does make sure the cleaning lady shows up to keep the house clean for me!!!

What she leaves and she has to hire a cleaning lady for you! Man some dudes have the world by the tail and dont even know it. Guess the chef comes by once a week to cook and freeze plates for you with preplanned meals too!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
