Wow, this is a seriously legit big project. How many people you got helping you with it, just curious?

Most of the time I can only get 2 of the 3 of us to do any work IE me myself and I. me and myself seem to be doing all of the work while I is always daydreaming up new things to add to the project. One of these morning me and myself are going to take the day off and I will have it all to himself.
ha,ha in all seriousness though through out the entire project there were only 2 days when I had 2 other guys helping if you can call them help one sat in the sky track forklift he had borrowed while the other held the end of a rope when we raised 4 of the 5 trusses I did all of the climbing had to pull them in place and weld them to the columns. The rest of the project has been my labor alone with my wife sitting or standing nearby incase I would need something not that there would be much she could help with when I am in the back hoe or on top of the roof but she is present almost every minute which in itself is comforting incase I should slip and fall or the electrical cord would come un plugged or I were to run out of welding rods when I was welding in the purlins

Actually, I was kinda thinking it was you doing most of this by yourself, but then I was like, naw he's got others with him I'm sure.

Dude, you da man! All 3 of your youz. :D

From now on it will be piece meal for the roof the longest sheets I have left are under 25 feet long This would be just about right as the old building I tore down was 68 feet by 120 feet a large part of the roof had caved in due to Ice and snow there was only about 100 feet of one side that the sheet metal was not bent up due to the collapse of the roof I have used 22 sheets on the north side and 9 on the south so that would just about account for the full length sheets I had.
I managed to get 2 sheets down to make a full length run and 2 more for a partial before the cold front started to come in kicking the wind up to some 25 MPH gusts maybe the wind will be more favorable tomorrow.

Ha, ha! Stay safe. That is quite a DIY project! I'm thinking your wife is supervising to make sure you don't do something stupid and hurt yourself. Since I am in the middle of a shop upgrade/remodel myself, I have really been enjoying several threads here lately on shop builds including your massive project.

I am already wishing that I had built the shop a little to the south so the container would have been outside but who knows some day I might borrow a D8 and drag it out

You are handy at welding. Just balance the container on an axle that you have built and drag it out with your backhoe. In Haiti we used an 8 bolt automotive hub and just used 3/4 ton rims and tires. It was easy to pull around with a 40 hp tractor. Unless you need an excuse to borrow a D-8... and get a D-8 fix!

pmsmechanic; Inside of the container is a 1950 Cushman truckster nearly 1000 lbs of lead sheets 200 8 ft 2x4 studs a Miller Bobcat 250, a 1917 16" Leblond lathe a 1951 Leblond 26" lathe a 1953 Cincinnati #2 horizontal mill a 1956 Sheldon 12" lathe a 12 ton shop press a 6x4 band saw and a 7 foot tall Snap-on tool box And I don't know what all else Everything except for the Miller bob cat and the Cushman are in position so I can use them Plus I have a 400 amp main fuse disconnect panel mounted on the wall next to the 250 amp service panel.
With the container sitting on 20or 30 16" square concrete pads moving it will be a royal pain then supporting the floor again under the machines would be next to impossible without removing them from the container first Which is something I need to do to the smaller machines that are along the one side so I can get my Cushman out of there. If I had been thinking when I started I would have built the shop to the south of the container leaving it outside but hind sight improves as life goes along
