I thought about that. If I need to rent one again, I'll try turning it around.

Dealer called today to let me know the loader showed up today! I'm dropping the tractor off in the morning to have it installed. I decided to let them do it and connect the hydraulics, etc in case there are any other MY2012 change over issues.

Will be interesting to see if the single point connector for the grapple is part of the package. Speaking of the grapple, my parking stands came in as well. Hopefully I'll be able to pick it up tomorrow afternoon!

I did go ahead and move the tires out further in the rear to be flush with the fender extensions. It was a little scary with the rear only supported near the center with a pair of stands!

Just dropped the tractor off at the dealer. Here it is next to the H260 loader. I came with a large ballast box even through I cancelled it in favor of rear weights.

Better invest in a quick hitch. Gonna be really hard hooking that box up!

Surprised you chose not to do the loader install.

They may have left the ballast box on the order if it was the cheapest way to get one for stock.

I am betting you get the single function multicoupler as part of the 3 function multicoupler package. I wonder if it will include the mobile side of the coupler or if you will have to buy it separately from parts.

Did you swap to the 85" bucket?

I really like my quick hitch! I ordered the smaller ballast box (with extension) and plan to modify the box to fit both my Cat I quick hitch and the Cat II. Even with wheel weights that rear end is too light!

The newer designed loader is very nice! Closing in most of the hydraulic lines is a great feature.. safer and much easier to keep the loader cleaned up and maintained (greased).

Well, if I had known they wouldn't even get to it today, I would have. Now it looks like Tuesday at the earliest before I'll be getting it back.

Besides, I don't have the equipment to charge the accumulator, a torque wrench that goes to 600 ft/lbs, and there was a scratch on the side that they are going to repaint and replace a H260 sticker. Also, I had to take it in anyway to get the PowrReverser modulator programmed. My dealer told me they actually scotchpad off the green paint where the loader brackets are bolted to the frame for a very tight fit, so I figured they would do a decent job. I'll be sure to inspect the work carefully when I pick it back up.

That's their plan now I believe. He did check and saw where he changed the order to not include the ballast box, but I guess something didn't "take" in the system.

Keeping my fingers crossed that its included.[/quote]

Not yet. I want to see what the other one looks like first when everything is setup. The smaller bucket will be better at digging, but can carry less loose material at a time. I'll mostly be digging/moving dirt as opposed to moving a lot of loose material. I saw a couple of 85" ones on the lot, so I don't think swapping out will be an issue.

I'm going to measure my implements over the weekend to see how many will work with the Cat2 quick hitch. He has one of those in stock too.

I guess I just might have the pole barn done before completed tractor finally gets here!

I'm more than likely getting a cat2 quick hitch, but plan to let him keep the ballast box unless I find that I'm real light in the back, even with a compact implement attached.

I have a JD cat 2 quick hitch if you need any measurements.

I plan to build something that will hold front suitcase weights for rear ballast. Then they (the suitcase weights) can serve front or rear as required.
