NASCAR Race to the Chase

Alright ladies and gentlemen, my boy Mark Martin made it to the chase and Kyle Busch won last week's race. I am so proud. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif So what do you think about the race to the chase and how are your boys doing?

I too am a big fan of the #6. Man, I hope he gets the championship as he really deserves it.

Hard to believe Roush has 5 cars in the chase.

In my opinion, it's nice to see DEI and J Gordon not in the chase.

As long as Jeffy-Boy is on the outside looking in, I'm happy!

If Mark Martin can't win it all, maybe Rubberhead (Rusty Wallace. All the Dale Earnhardt Sr. fans out there already KNEW that!)

But with the last few weeks as a basis, don't be shocked in Matt Kenseth wins it all.

With a 5 in 10 chance, looks like "The Cat in the Hat" has another trophy on the way.

Back in the day, I was a big drag racing fan. Anyone remember "Gapp & Rousch"? (Pro stock 4-door Ford Maveric)

I am a Roush guy for various reasons, I have been pulling for the entire team for years. It's nice to see they have it down pat. Unfortunatly the world will be turned upside down when they all leave over the next couple of years. I',m pulling for Mark too, he deserves it after all these years and the undeniable class he shows week after week.

Now no offense, but I may like Kyle Busch but I HATE Kurt. I don't know why, it has just always been that way. He's kind of like Jr. and Jeffy, he gets on my nerves.

Funny story when I first moved transfered (sp?) down here in N.C.

Going over plans with a contractor on a house.

Looking at the "gun room" and sanatorium (sp?) and the size of the house, I asked the contractor who in the heck owns this and what does he do.

Guy responded that it was Richard Childress's (sp?) house.

I looked at him and asked "who is Richard Childress?".

You should of seen the expression on his face, priceless.

I do not care for the chase setup but since it is how it is I am glad to see all the Roush cars in there. However, it is already starting a lot of problems now because he has 5 cars there and the other owners don't think it is fair to have so many cars on one team.

So lets see, Kenseth wins a couple years ago and Nascar redoes the entire points system and championship system. Now Roush has 5 cars in the 10 car chase, do you think Nascar is going to try and limit the size of teams for next season?

I have always thought that they should limit the size of teams to 3 cars, no matter who they are.
