Need a back-up camera

With my neck, I can't turn around very far to see behind me. As I get older this is becoming more of a problem. I have a B2650 cab model and would like to mount the monitor from the ceiling, and mount the camera under the back window, or maybe above it. I would also like to have an infared camera for nighttime usage. Any suggestions?

If I don’t stretch and use my neck it gets stiffs, and it becomes hard to turn my neck. I never thought that the solution might be to never have to turn my neck. A camera on the tractor would help for that situation, but what about for the rest of the day? Maybe I should get one to mount on my hat.

Just get a plain backup camera I got mine for $100 where? don't remember! Next get yourself a nice bright backup light whole lot
cheaper than with night vision unless you got the coin and don't care

I picked this up on Amazon. Comes with 2 cameras, both on rear - this is the 'low' view one

and the 'high' view one,

It has a slot for a memory card to record (I don't use). It also has provision to keep track of time and time stamp your videos (requires a wire be kept hot all the time). I don't use that either. About $100

I've read reviews until I'm blue in the face and can't find one that trips my trigger. The one that ctgoldwing has looks pretty good. Can you tell me what brand and model it is and if you've had any issues with it?

Here is the link: 9" monitor with 2 cameras

As you can see I put both cameras on the rear. There are a lot of features I don't use besides the ones I mentioned above. One which may interest you is the ability to view both cameras split screen.

After just having my 2nd cervical fusion I was more interested in just the rear views It comes with one 5m and one 15m cable - waaay to long. I ended up ordering 2 of these 3m cable which could still be shorter. I just looped the excess & zip tied it to the tractor.

So far no problems with the unit. If the sun is directly behind me, illuminating the monitor, it is hard to see. I haven't found that to be a deal breaker.

What may be for you, wasn't for me, is the monitor is NOT weatherproof. That said I plowed with my back blade is some pretty cold temps and the monitor was fine. It also got soaked once in a rain when I forgot to take it in I garage my tractor and do not operate it in the rain. As hard as I've tried it still chugging along.

In-expensive stuff these days works pretty darn good. I had to replace a monitor after a couple of years, but they're cheap enough that it's not a big deal: the plus is that the newer monitors now have a single plug connector which eliminates any need to rewire.
