Get an official looking sign as mentioned, then add this below it.

Once had that problem as they liked to fish from my waterfront.
Posting did not help.
What worked was flat tires!
(I'm not a s--t, I would simply remove the valve stem.)
They did not come back after 2nd tire change.
And had they not got my message the 3rd time would have been 2 deflated tires.

Oh, and I had previously placed notes on their windshield.

In Wisconsin, if you enroll in the woodland tax credit to get a reduction in taxes, you can chose if you will allow people on the property. You get a higher reduction if people are allowed to roam/hunt/bird watch, etc...

"We Eat What We Kill" signs and a little banjo music on occasion.

It is time to post No Trespassing signs on the perimeter of my property. <snip>. Finally, do you have any suggestions on how to mount them? I could affix them to trees, but spacing would not be very uniform. Are there good systems to affix a sign to a T-post? Or some other method?

As others have said, check state and local ordinances as to what constitutes proper posting. It is conceivable that the trespasser's lawyer (if it comes to that) will argue a "reasonable" person could not "reasonably see" a sign that was posted above eye level, obscured by foliage, weathered to illegibility, etc. Placing signs at eye level means within a vandal's reach. Of course a determined vandal can destroy whatever you put out there, but you can make it more difficult.

Wire clips, U-bolts around a T-bolt would be exposed to bolt cutters, cold chisels, battery powered grinders. Better would be threaded studs welded to T-posts or carriage bolts through a wooden or square-tube steel post. I have had success against pilferers with "Tuff Nuts". These are elegant but cost $0.60 to $1.00 each in 1/4-20 or 5/16-18. (I have no commercial connection with Tuff-Nuts.) You might find one per sign sufficient, plus at least one extra to use as a tool.

I went with these: NO Trespassing Signs~POSTED~12 Pack~NO Hunting~Medium Tree/Post Signs | Sign Screen~Yard Signs, Security signs, Sign Blanks

I put them up on trees or wooden fenceposts with a plastic cap roofing nail. The most important place to post would be any entrance (gate). After that, I have read all sorts of things for my area...I decided to go about 500’ between signs after talking to my insurance guy. He said if it’s not posted “properly” nothing may happen to a trespasser as they could still claim ignorance...so I spent a little more for more signs.

Btw, I highly recommend those signs, the guy even let me buy half NO TRESSPASSING and half NO HUNTING...but they do take a good long time to ship.
