Need advice 6105D

What does the 5m have that you would miss on a 6d? 2013 they really improved them.

Well I try and look away from anything with the "M" behind it. But Mostly HP. My fil was looking at large square balers and that means MUCHO pto hp. That almost gurantees a 6140D(Or bigger) would be the only way for a newer tractor to make sense. The creature comforts and the little odds and ends can sometimes really add up to a much more enjoyable tractor to run would lean towards the "M". I wish I would have gotten the air seat and corner post exhaust along with the e-hitch and the 3rd function on my loader with my current "E". I have not really been tractor shopping except looking at horsepower and dollars between the 5m and the 6d. Always interested in the benefits of new equipment though.

The other deal is it is a 3 speed trans with 3 ranges. It would be better being a 4 speed with 2 ranges.

Who knows - I passed on the 6D.

The M series electro-hydraulic hitch is worth a lot, especially when your hooking to, and un-hooking from hay equipment. Trust me.
As Zebrafive said, I would strongly urge you to consider the radial tires, whichever model tractor you get.

I agree on both.

I have e hitch on my 5525 and I would like to have it. Way too much extra for a 5m or 6nm

Most of the stuff I will be hooking up is pull type.

I will still have the 5525 for the eh itch.
