Need help identifying this line John Deere 310A backhoe

What us this line. It's leaking at the fitting.

A part number would be great
My finger is on the fitting that leaks

It runs to the bottom of the fuel tank I believe

Tee fitting that you have your finger on is on the fuel return line that leads back to "top of fuel tank". I think I located the correct seal(item 3) part # R51936 if your tractors serial range resembles SN in photo below. Seal on top of injector is part #R79605. Item 1 in 2nd phot is fuel return line to tank.

Nice forum... I have a question about a LX172. It has the Kawasaki engine with an ignitor The symptoms are the engine starts cutting out, back firing, and nearly stalls when the blades are engaged. When not engaged it runs ok. How it behaves to me is like other tractors I've messed around...

I'm not one to bail after starting a topic on a forum.
I'll take your word for it if you're saying I did that on here 7 years ago...
Something must have come up that distracted me from the forum.


I will be looking into his response to me as soon as I can get to the machine. (Around 4:30 p.m. EST)

This ends in a "T" so Im not sure this is the correct serial number...

It is on the engine. Right side.


Upon further review of the line it does indeed go to the top of the tank.

Sorry I forgot that the thread I posted listed engine serial # range. Yes I think part #s I posted should fit your tractors fuel system.
