If you can, test or buy one with a good suspension seat if you don't get one with an active suspension like the Ferris - even with the suspension get an upgraded seat.

Yes sir that's main thing me and wife going for is comfort,she also has big say so cause she likes to mow also. Be nice to just buy two,cause having to agree ain't always easy lol.
We are also going to add the ZGlides on front wheels on whatever we purchase...

That's disappointing. I've always heard that the front deck mowers give a much nicer ride then a zero turn.

My F2690 had a standard seat, but had the weight dial at the front of the seat. Maybe a optional suspension seat would make a day on the mower more enjoyable. Loved to flip up deck and the snow blower attachment.
The Ferris i,m using is several years old (not sure how old) and has standard suspension on all 4 corners and also has a standard seat. Newer models apparently have suspension seats and are even more comfortable.

Agreed..........a Z/T will beat you to death even the front mount g/hopper or deere i have drive are rough, more so than the tractor type chassis. I love mowing but since i got my larger SCUT and now CUT my wife/daughter love it. They are more forgiving when it comes to bumps.

Our zero turn (Hustler Super Z with flex forks, suspension seat and 8 PSI tire pressure) rides as good or better than my 35 HP tractor with suspension seat mowing the lawn.

I ended up going with slightly used Exmark Lazer Z 60” with 25hp Kohler. That’s my brother JD920M

I really like it me and the brother spent about 3hrs knocking all the mowing out. It's pretty responsive on the controls took me just little get use to it,that JD can't say anything bad about it either,it's been nice mowing with the past week.
