Since I moved I use the blower on the 3940 with cab, that pig hogs off 72" per pass while I'm nice and warm![]()
Sounds like you have a spare QH to sell to the OP. Problem solved all around.

Brilliant!! I gotta believe Kevin is on to something here. Find out, somehow, from someone knowledgeable, if that hitch is for your machine. For sure, the new style would fit properly. It comes nowhere near the front axle.
Perhaps you said, did you get the snowblower separately from the tractor purchase?
I bought the tracotr used, but the package of paperwork does show the snowblower was not bought at the same time as the tractor. I guess I falsely assumed all BX tractors used the same hitch, dont get me wrong, it fits on there and its tight, but I'm realizing its definitely not the correct QH... I am just not sure if I can swing the extra cake to buy a different one unless I can sell the old one.

Your dealer may trade with you for a few bucks, mine did.
Just called, they wont trade, it seems my QH is for ONLY the BX1500, which is about 10 years old, he has no interest in taking it as trade -- $570 for the new style QH that fits basically everything.. Not sure I can swing that right now, he suggest I rig it up to work, which I somewhat have at this point, still nervous about doing damage to my machine.
Yep, running with wrong hitch is a bad idea. The drive line rolls at about 2500 RPM
