What works for one person, may not work for someone else. An orifice will let a certain GPM flow, to operate the cylinder. A FEL valve is doing the same thing by activating the lever a small amount, and allowing a certain GPM to flow. There is only a small drop in pressure after the orifice. Wayne has a hydraulic shop, and could set up a test and verify the results. He would have pressure gages, and flow meters, cyl, etc. About the only results we would like to see is, what GPM is being pushed through a .030 orifice, compared to an orifice of .250, and timing on a 2 in cyl with a 1.125 rod, and a 14 in stroke, using a 10 GPM pump. He probably won't do it for me, but maybe for the rest of you guys. If I am wrong, so be it.
