A little about myself and my stuff. My son and I started a saw milling business up just about a month now. I have a JD 850 compact 1985. We just purchased a Woodland mills saw. great saw for the money. and a 1997 dodge ram 1500 with new trailer for hauling wood and my tractor. Got a couple of orders so far. I just retired and am using this business to supplement my income I lost when I retired. I was pulling logs out of my back swamp up in the north Florida panhandle when I just about buried the tractor. Logs way to heavy and no traction. All four tires spinning but no movement of the logs. So i thought about wide dual tires. I could add more weight to the front and have better traction. No how to do it? Found most of the parts on line but no factory or direct mock up on those 12 X 24 tires in the back. So I'm just picking everyone's brain and reading a lot and spending countless hours on the computer. As I live in a farm community I think it's about time to get out and talk to some tractor tire shops and local farmers. If any one has any advise I would love to here it. Thanks
