Thanks 'jdfanatic' - now it just needs to stop raining for a while so I can play oops I mean get some work done. I see you are located in southern New England also so I am sure you know what I mean.

By the buy I have a question (search is not working today - god bless mysql); just what exactly is the method one needs to do to 'float' either a FEL or front blade? The sundry literature that comes with the stuff does not really explain this procedure. Is it just putting the FEL 'joy stick" in its forward most position?

Bud,

Congrads on the machine and enjoy.

As for the float, push the lever forward and pick the front wheels off the ground, and now, push the lever forward some more (quick push forward) and you will feel a bump in the motion and that allows it to be in float and the tractor will come back down on the wheels. Give it a try and enjoy /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
